app, news, wireless sync June 10th, 2011

A pair of iPhone smartphones are set to go into space on the final space shuttle mission running an app called SpaceLabs for iOS. The rumor comes from an analyst that says Apple is building data centers all around the world and such a product would be hugely profitable. With the new engineer at Apple with experience in carbon fiber, many are thinking that Apple will be offering carbon fiber cases for the iPhone and iPods soon to bring WiFi sync to the gadgets. However, other people point out that carbon fiber blocks many wireless signals too making it questionable for improving wireless capability.
