Ultrasn0w Fixer: Brings Ultrasn0w Compatability To iOS 4.3.2 Post from: FSMdotCOM Since Apple dropped the newest firmware for our iOS devices, some unlockers have already updated to the newest firmware using either custom PwnageTool bundles, or the newly updated Sn0wbreeze. The main problem now, is that with new firmwares, come compatibility issues. The main affecting “Unlocked” iPhone users, both 3GS and iPhone 4, is to Ultrasn0w. Not anymore. DJayB6 has updated the Ultrasn0w fixer tool, and hosted it on his own repo.. Features The fix works for both iphone 4 and 3GS Fixes the one bar bug, and ultrasn0w in general This is made specifically for 4.3.2 Ultrasn0w without the fix breaks wifi Here’s how to install: 1. Ultrasn0w Updated To Fix Compatibility With iOS 4.3.1 Post from: FSMdotCOM Just a quick heads-up: The iPhone DevTeam has pushed out the 4.3.1 compatibility fix for ultrasn0w in Cydia — it’s now at version 1.2.1.  If you’re not already at 4.3.1 and you need the unlock,  please be sure you understand how to get to 4.3.1 using a custom IPSW that doesn’t update your baseband: PwangeTool tutorial sn0wbreeze tutorial This isn’t a new unlock!  It’s to allow those who are already using ultrasn0w to use FW 4.3.1. It also fixes the signal bar issue for those who aren’t using the unlock but retain an older baseband intentionally. AFTER INSTALLING ULTRASN0W 1.2.1, PLEASE REBOOT YOUR iPHONE using the normal “slide to power off” swipe.  T-Mobile users in the USA also should disable 3G mode in Settings->General->Network

Ultrasn0w For iOS 4.3.1 To Be Released In ‘A Few Days’ Post from: FSMdotCOM Just a quick heads-up: MuscleNerd just announced that ‘  The 4.3.1 issues (signal bars, etc) are fixed, but need a few days to test all devices + FW (again: not a new unlock! ) ‘ . This won’t be a brand new ultrasn0w, but an update to the existing one which will allow already unlocked iPhone users to update to iOS 4.3.1. Remember that, a couple of days ago, when the iPhone DevTeam released the new PwnageTool for iOS 4.3.1, but we also got a big fat warning:  ultrasn0w users don’t update yet! We need to first release an update to ultrasn0w that fixes some incompatibilities when FW 4.3.1 is used on the older basebands supported by ultrasn0w.  And remember once we do fix ultrasn0w for 4.3.1 (we’ll announce it here and on twitter), you must only get there via a custom IPSW from  PwnageTool , Sn0wbreeze or xpwn!  Don’t ever try to restore or update to a stock IPSW, or you’ll lose the unlock! Apparently, ultrasn0w will be update in a few days and we will keep you updated. Stay tuned….
