Kindle for iOS, New Zealand iPhone launch chaos, 14% of iPhone apps access contacts

The latest version of the Kindle app for the iPhone adds some new and interesting features for fans. The new version has iPad search, a dictionary, and fast switching. The dictionary has 250,000 words in it. The iPhone 4 landed in New Zealand today and there have been some issues with the launch . Apparently, many folks stood in line all night to be told by workers that the iPhone 4 was not there though the device apparently came in later. A study by security firm Lookout has found that 14% of free iPhone apps on the App Store are able to access the users contact list .
