HOW TO: (Apparently) Enable HDR Feature On iPhone 3G/3Gs Running iOS 4.1 Post from: FSMdotCOM A few days ago, we told you that HDR photos are coming to the iPhone 3G and 3Gs via a Cydia Package. Apparently you can enable the feature manually, editing a .plist file. I say apparently, because : 1. It didn’t work for me 2. You need to have a jailbroken iPhone 3G/3Gs running iOS 4.1 ( unofficial methods ) So, first of all you need to jailbreak iOS 4.1. There is no official jailbreak for that but you can jailbreak it using redsn0w on 3G ( you are better off, trust me. If you want to try, just point redsn0w to stock 4.0 ) , or using PwnageTool on 3Gs ( here and here ). Once you are jailbroken, install openSSH, SSH into your device and browse to: iPhone 3G: /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/ – copy N82AP.plist on your desktop iPhone 3Gs: /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/ – copy N88AP .plist on your desktop Now you will need to edit that plist by adding a key named
