HOW TO: Add Multitouch Gestures On iPhone 4 Running iOS 4 Beta Post from: FSMdotCOM Earlier today, we showed you a video demonstrating the multitouch gestures on the iPhone 4 . Although they are a bit of a handful, you probably want to try them yourself, so we’re going to show you how to do it. 1. Jailbreak your iPhone 4 running iOS 4.3beta ( we assume it’s working on beta 1 – we tried it on beta 2, but the jailbreaking process is a little bit to much to take in right now ) ( to jailbreak iOS4.3 beta 1 check out this tutorial ) 2. SSH into your iPhone and browse to System>Library>CoreServices>SpringBoard.app>N90.plist 3. Open N90.plist plist with a plist editor, or a text editor like TextWrengler 4. Add the a boolean statement and set the value to true 5. Save , replace and respring. 6. Enjoy

iOS 4.3 Beta Multitasking Gestures Demonstrated On iPhone [video]

Apple, ios, iOS 4.1, iOS4.1, iPad, iPhone, multitasking, news January 20th, 2011

iOS 4.3 Beta Multitasking Gestures Demonstrated On iPhone [video] Post from: FSMdotCOM One of the new features uncovered in iOS 4.3 beta was multitouch gestures for multitasking , which can be very useful on the iPad while, on an iPhone, sounded like a bit of a handful. Now we have some video evidence, with Antoni Nygaard managing to get them working on his iPhone, along with the lock/mute switch toggle as well. Given these multitouch gestures aren’t coming to the iPad (yet) we’re guessing it won’t be hitting the iPhone either, but we can always hope. Take a look at the iPhone multitouch gestures in action, after the jump… [ via engadget]

HOW TO: Spot An Unlockable iPhone 3Gs Before You Buy It

AT&T, ios, iOS 4.1, news October 6th, 2010

HOW TO: Spot An Unlockable iPhone 3Gs Before You Buy It Post from: FSMdotCOM This just in: our AT&T ninja just sent us a picture of a regular old iPhone 3Gs box… or is it? Notice something different about it? That’s right, the one on the right has the GameCenter icon displayed right on the box. That means that iPhone 3Gs comes pre-installed with iOS 4.1 , therefore no jailbreak and no unlock at the moment. If you’re on the hunt for an unlockable iPhone 3Gs, you should ask your local AT&T stores for old stocks, or maybe just browse for a box without the GameCenter icon on it. We doubt you can do this at the Apple Store, but it’s not always what you know, but who you know. For all of you international folks, same rule apply… Tweet

HDR Camera Enabler: Enable HDR Feature On iPhone 3Gs Running iOS 4.1

Cydia, iOS 4.1, news September 13th, 2010

HDR Camera Enabler: Enable HDR Feature On iPhone 3Gs Running iOS 4.1 Post from: FSMdotCOM New day, new tweak in Cydia: HDR Camera Enabler. Yesterday we showed you how to manually enable the HDR feature manually, and today you can just install this tweak and you are golden. It still requires iOS 4.1 , and since there’s no official jailbreak available, it’s a little bit odd that this tweak was released so soon. Anyway, if you have an iPhone 3Gs with older bootrom, you can jailbreak iOS 4.1 using ( !unofficial ) PwnageTool ( here and here ). After installation, you need to enable the tweak via Winterboard. You can download HDR Camera Enabler for free from Cydia via Modmyi repo…
