A cool case from Mophie showed up this week called the ViviTouch that has haptic feedback tech. The idea is to give you vibration feedback for more immersion in games. A new feature has surfaced in iOS 5 beta 3 that mirrors FaceTime to a larger screen. The mirroring will make the iPhone a cheap video conferencing solution. A survey has found that 34% of iPhone 4 users think their smartphone has 4G connectivity inside. A large portion of Android and RIM users think they have 4G as well.

The hack installs the iPod touch 4 FaceTime application on the iPad, with a full-screen, optimized user interface. Although the iPad user will not be shown due to the lack of a camera, the audio still works and the mute button is present, too. NOTE: do it at your own risk. We are not responsible for your screw-ups Things needed: Conference.framework IMCore.framework MobilePhone.app ConferenceRegistrationSettings.bundle AVFoundation.framework Celestial.framework UISounds folder all from iPhone 4 or iPod Touch 4 firmware and a Jailbroken iPad running 4.2.1 (works on untethered and tethered) ( untethered jailbreaking tutorial – Mac and Windows ) 1. SSH to /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/ 2. Rename Conference.framework to ConferenceiPad.framework and IMCore.framework to IMCoreiPad.framework 3.
