TinEye Music

AppStore, apps December 22nd, 2008

TinEye Music is a great way to find out more about an album simply by taking a photo of it. Photograph any album cover and TinEye’s image identification system will recognize it and give you links for that album on iTunes, allmusic.com, YouTube, and Wikipedia. Listen to song samples, read album reviews and band bios, or buy music right from your iPhone, instantly. No need for typing.

Take a photo of an album to look it up online.

Using sophisticated pattern recognition algorithms, TinEye Music creates a unique visual ‘fingerprint’ for each album cover photo that you take, and compares it to the visual fingerprint of every single album cover image in the iTunes music store to find matches. TinEye Music does not use image metadata or watermarks, and is powered by the same technology that brought you TinEye the Image Search Engine!
