Mophie has been making power packs for the iPhone for a while that look like cases and give you more battery life. The company has unveiled a new juice pack powerstation device that will work with the iPhone or any other USB device with 3600 mAh of juice inside. Altec Lansing has debuted Octiv Duo speaker dock for iPhone and iPods with two docks to charge two devices at the same time. This is a good thing for homes like mine where there are multiple iPhones. Altec Lansing also pulled the wraps off a new set of earphones aimed at the audiophile that will work with the iPhone. The earphones are called the Muzx Ultra and have an iPhone remote built-in along with a mic.

Logitech has unveiled a couple new Ultimate Ears headsets that will work with the iPhone for making and receiving calls. The headsets are the Ultimate Ears 500vi and 200vi with a mic and inline volume controls costing $79.99 and $39.99 respectively. If your iTunes account is linked to your PayPal account, you had better check things out today. A bunch of accounts all around the country linked to PayPal have been hacked with as much as thousands of dollars in charges made. A new rumor has surfaced again focusing on the long rumored Verizon iPhone. Sennheiser has announced a new line of “HD” closed headphones which are supposedly optimised for iPod, iPhone and other portable device use and are distinctly affordable.

The complete range of compact, lightweight and foldable HDs feature powerful neodymium magnets and ultra-light diaphragms and adjustable, comfortable ear cups.

The HD218 comes in at just ?40 and offers punchy bass and decent mids and highs. The closed design helps to block both outside noise and sound leakage. They have a frequency response of 19 – 21000 Hz and weigh in at 224g with a 1.4m single-sided OFC cable.

For a tenner more, the HD228s offer extended treble (18 – 22000 Hz frequency response) and are available in either black or white finish.
