Apple scraps restock fee, Apple offers iPhone 3GS for $49, iXtreamer goes on sale

Apple has announced that it is scrapping the 10% restocking fees that it previously charged on items returned to retail stores. The policy change goes along with the expected unveil of the iPhone for Verizon this week. Apple will offer the iPhone 3GS for $49. AT&T started offering the deal a while back making it really cheap and Apple is now matching the deal. iPhone and iPad users in the UK can now get the iXtremeer media streamer for the iPhone and iPad. The device has a 3.5″ HDD, WiFi, and a HDMI port for shooting content to your TV.
