iLuv iMM747 speaker dock, Apple loses patent infringement case, ADT Pulse controlled by iPhone
app, news October 5th, 2010
iLuv has premiered a new speaker dock that can charge and play the iPad, iPhone, and iPod. The dock uses an adjustable system not needing trays and will sell for about $150. Apple has lost a patent infringement suit that was over Time Machine and Cover Flow. Apple is challenging the verdict, but another loss could mean changes to the album art system we all know or Apple may have to cough up licensing fees. ADT has unveiled a new system for home security and automation called Pulse . The Pulse system works with an iPhone app for controlling the security system, thermostat, and viewing live camera feeds from security cams among other things.
