JVC has unveiled a cool new iPhone dock in Japan that looks really sweet called the EX-S1 . The most notable feature is that the dock has a pair of wooden cone speakers along with a CD player and AM/FM tuner inside. The VLC Media Player App is now available in the App Store. The player supports almost all video codec out there for the iPhone and iPad and will expand the video horizons of the Apple devices. Apple purchased a facial recognition firm this week called Polar Rose . The purchase leads to speculation that we will soon see AR Recognizr coming to the iPhone. The deal cost Apple $22 million.
