iPhone iOS 4.2 Beta 1 Allows You To Assign Text Tones To Contacts Post from: FSMdotCOM Combing through the new iPhone beta, we found a new, unmentioned feature in iOS 4.2. The ability to assign separate text tones to your contacts. A pretty big feature that people have been waiting for. Not sure if you will be able to use any custom text tones, or only the built in ones at the moment.
