Best Buy Mobile has announced that anyone who buys or previously purchased an iPhone 4 from the Best Buy Mobile store will get a free Zagg Side Shield . The Side Shield is the invisibleSHIELD film from Zagg and prevents the infamous antenna issues. According to the WSJ Apple is conducting a probe into the issues iPhone 3G users are seeing with iOS 4 on the smartphone. The main complaint is slow operation after the install. The woes of iPhone 4 users and the antenna design on the new smartphone are legendary at this point. Motorola has taken the rare misstep by Apple and turned it into a chance to poke fun at the iPhone 4 with a new ad leading with a tag line “No Jacket Required.”

ATTENTION iPhone 3G & 3Gs Unlockers: Baseband 05.14.01+ Makes Ultrasn0w 0.93 Exploit Obsolete Post from: FSMdotCOM Just a quick heads-up: Sherif Hashim confirmed that baseband 05.14.01 ( and above ) makes ultrasn0w 0.93′s exploit obsolete. iPhone 3G and 3Gs users should stay on iOS 4.0 or 4.0.1 and do not update to future iOS releases, otherwise you won’t be able to unlock your iPhone. Probably ultrasn0w will be updated in the future or, who knows, new unlocking tools will be released. But for now, just stay away from that update button.
