Remember that the new tool will jailbreak ALL iOS devices running iOS 4.x. You should save your SHSH blobs, which now can be saved for iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G as well. If you don’t know how to save your SHSH blobs, you can do it via Cydia or via TinyUmbrella . SHSH blobs for 4.0.1 or 4.0 are fine; there are no substantive differences except the bars . iTunes 9.2.1 Safe For Already Jailbroken Devices, BUT Avoid It For Fresh Spirit Jailbreaks… Post from: FSMdotCOM Yesterday, we told you that Apple dropped iTunes 9.2.1 and it should cause no problems for jailbreaks, but you should wait for the community to fully test it before updating. Today, MuscleNerd announced that iTunes 9.2.1 is fine for already-jailbroken devices and also new jailbreaks via redsn0w / PwnageTool . You should avoid this update for now for fresh Spirit jailbreaks. That means that if you own an iOS devices which cannot be jailbroken right now, and you are waiting for the new version of Spirit , you should NOT update.

HOW TO: Turn Your iPhone 4 White And Fix Antenna Issues ( Probably ) Post from: FSMdotCOM Everybody wants a white iPhone 4, including me… but I got a black one. So what can we do? Well , we can use a skin, which is exactly what I did. I made my own skin at GelaSkins, and I tried to keep it nice and clean. I can’t say I am 100% satisfied, but let’s get into it already… One+ years ago, I bought my first iPhone skin, since I’m not such a big fan of cases for the iPhone. I bought it from GelaSkins as well, and it is Justin Bua’s ’1981′ painting. Since, I don’t have an iPhone 4 case, and I am definitely not in a hurry to get one, I decided to get a skin for it as well. So, i browsed around GelaSkins but didn’t quite find something I like. Sure they still got the Justin Bua ones, and you can find some DAIM ones, but even though i like both artists, I decided to make my own. So I fired up Photoshop and 1-1,5 hours later I came up with this: It’s nice, clean, looks like the white iPhone 4 and I personalized it putting the FSM tag inside the Apple logo ( I bet Steve loves it ) . Now, GelaSkins lets you create your own skin. So all you need to do is go to http://www.gelaskins.com/create/upload and upload your art. They offer a WYSIWYG ( what you see is what you get ) editor, and the skin you’ll create will cover the back, front and sides of the iPhone. No, everything is not perfect. The back of my iPhone looks sleek , the sides look sleek too and supposedly the side stickers of the skin, will fix the antenna issues as well. But the front of the iPhone ( as expected ) doesn’t look good AT ALL. First of all it got 3 pieces to it: the bottom, the top and a sticker for the home button. I didn’t even want to put the front on, but i did it anyway for the sake of this tutorial or however you want to call it… a As you can see, the home button contains the same FSM tag. And even though in the WYSIWYG editor was perfectly centered and big enough so you can read it, but not big enough so it will touch any of the sides, at the print it came up too high. Bottom line: the back and sides of my iPhone 4 are sleek as f*ck right now. I removed the front side of the skin, because I knew from the start that I won’t like it. So , if you want a white iPhone, get a skin which will ( probably ) fix the antenna issues too.
