MobileTerminal v4.26 For iOS 4.0 ( unofficial .deb ) Post from: FSMdotCOM MobileTerminal was finally updated for iOS 4.0 , and comes with new functions and a slightly tweaked UI. Unfortunately this is not an official release, so you won’t find it in Cydia. The good news is that you can download the .deb file and install it yourself. In the new MobileTerminal, the developer uses page curl, which used to be a private API, to allow us to open multiple pages simultaneously and we can also copy-paste commands between pages. By tapping on the blue arrow, you will get a list of most common commands , but you can predefine your own frequently used commands. Download MobileTerminal for iOS 4 on your computer and install it on your iOS device. If you don’t know how to install a .deb file check this tutorial . If you want to know how to remove an install .deb file check this tutorial … NOTE: since this version of MobileTerminal was not officially released , you can expect bugs. If you don’t absolutely need it , wait for the app to be officially dropped in Cydia. We will keep you informed. Stay tuned…

Apple likes to talk about the huge amounts of apps that it has sold via the App Store. Analysts from Piper Jaffray looked at some comments made by Steve Jobs and worked out the numbers for the App Store. If correct, the App Store makes about $189 million gross . UK iPhone carrier Tesco has announced its pricing for the iPhone 4 and the prices are probably the best around. A 12-month contract plan with 1GB of DATA will cost ?20 monthly with the iPhone 4 16GB handset costing ?349. Pay ?45 monthly and agree to a 2-year contract and that 16GB iPhone is only ?19. iFixit has torn down the new iPhone 4 and found that the device uses Gorilla Glass and has 512MB of RAM. The tear down also found a FM radio inside and noted that the LCD and digitizer are glued to the glass making a replacement costly.

Social Intervation: My iPhone Is Off For You Post from: FSMdotCOM It’s a one-way communication.Too much one-sided information, a silent violence, a violent silence. It’s time for a social intervention: ‘My (i)Phone Is Off For You’. The idea is simple: turn off phones during dinner. But it’s so hard! My Phone Is Off For You provides tools to help you start the conversation. I just stumbled upon this site, and it immediately took me back in 2005, when my favorite band in the world ‘Looptroop Rockers’ (Sweden) released their 3rd album called ‘Fort Europa’. There’s one track on that album called ‘Unilateral Communication’ which can easily become the theme song for this project. Maybe that’s why I decided to post about it, or maybe just because sometimes we forget to be, well… humans, and we need a reminder.
