The new update adds two new options: Enable battery percentage Verbose boot mode The tool will be particularly useful for iPhone 3G and iTouch 2G users who will be able to activate iOS 4 functions intentionally blocked by Apple. The Verbose boot mode, explains what it’s happening each step of the way and lets you know if anything’s wrong so you can fix it, or submit any bugs to the DevTeam. The redsn0w beta has been updated for 4.0GM on iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2G (non-MC version). After 0.9.5 beta 5 for Mac and Windows , they are about to release RedSn0w 0.9.5 beta 5-2 which ads a new option : ‘Enable battery percentage’ .
