Just add http://www.bitesms.com/cydia/beta4.9 to your Cydia repos to give it a try. You will have to reboot manually, as a regular re-spring wont let it show up on the springboard. So far the only real bug I have is on the lockscreen, when using QuickCompose, it brings up the unlock keypad. More annoying than a bug. Apples take on multitasking has enabled a quick launch task bar on the iPhone 3GS and iPod touch 3G to make it easier to launch your recently used apps. And in the case of apps that have the backgrounding added (ie factory apps and newly optimized apps) to open where you left off. The problem is, all apps end up down here, not just ones that are optimized. Leaving you a long scrollable dock to sort thru. And this is where the Remove Recents tweak comes into play. It will only allow apps that are optimized for Apples multi-tasking to stay in the quick launch task bar. And remove the rest Right now these are only Apples stock apps. But expect more in the coming days as Devs submit there apps to Apple for review.

Goatse Security group discovered the security weakness in an AT&T Web site for iPad users last week, thousands of emails went public and AT&T criticized the hackers for disclosing the flaw. The man in the picture is Andrew ‘Escher’ Auernheimer a.k.a Weev, a key member of the Goatse Security. According to CNet , Andrew faces four felony charges of possession of a controlled substance and one misdemeanor possession charge, Foster said. The drugs included cocaine, ecstasy, LSD, and schedule 2 and 3 pharmaceuticals, he said. Andrew Auernheimer, 24, was being held in Washington County Detention Center in Fayetteville, Ark., according to Lt. Anthony Foster of the Washington County Sheriff’s office in that state. The drugs were found during the execution of the warrant, said Lt. Mike Perryman, of the Fayetteville Police Department. However, Perryman could not say what prompted the warrant. In March, Auernheimer was arrested for giving a fake name to law enforcement officers responding to a parking complaint in Fayetteville, Perryman said.
