Apple patent app for solar power, WWDC 2010 today, Foxconn gives workers a raise

A new patent app from Apple surfaced last week that outlined a way to put solar panels behind the screen of devices. Apple is looking to add solar panels to all its gear. Sister site SlashGear will be live blogging WWDC 2010 when it kicks off later this afternoon. This is the event where Steve will show off the new iPhone according to rumors. Foxconn has promised to give the workers at its Chinese iPhone factory a raise of up to 66% based on performance. The workers would have to pass a 3-month evaluation to get the raise.
