Sennheiser has announced its latest range of sports-friendly earphones — the Sports II to be precise — and they come in a lovely bright shade of orange just in time for the summer. Oh, there’s blue too.

In fact there are five designs to choose from, ranging in price from £25 to £50 per pair.

LG Vu Plus Accessories

At entry-level comes the MX 80 Sport II ORANGE offering an ergonomic design fit, sweat and water resistance, the Sennheiser Basswind system offering enhanced bass reproduction, ruggedised construction, and coming complete with cable clip and carry pouch. £25.

Next up, the MX 85 Sport II ORANGE uses a “twist to fit” system, has powerful neodymium magnets, a balanced an detailed sound reproduction, and rugged construction. £35.

LG Vu Plus Screen Protector

The OMX 80 Sport II ORANGE or BLUE are stereo clip-on earphones with flexible ear hooks for a secure fit. They too have the Basswind system, cable clip and carrying pouch. £35.

The PMX 80 Sport II Orange are rugged stereo neckback headphones with a vertical transducer system, neodymium magnets, ruggedised construction, a reflective rear stripe for visibility, and single-sided cable with clip. £35.

Vu Plus Accessories

Finally, the CX 380 Sport II ORANGE features high-performance, noise-isolating ear-canal phones with soft silicone ear tips in different sizes, passive noise reduction, ruggedised construction, and a high-performance dynamic driver system. They’re even washable under running water. £50.

All are optimised for use with portable music players including the iPhone and iPod touch.
