Lotus Notes for iPhone update
Windows, apps, news March 14th, 2008

A cloud of mist surrounds IBM’s Lotus notes. IBM spokesman Mike Azzi said that IBM is working on Notes e-mail application for iPhone 2.0, but he didn’t reveal any more details. Apple did not provide any comment either.
It can be guessed that IBM will use recently launched SDK to develop Lotus Notes for the iPhone 2.0, which will then be distributed over App store.
There are 140 million Lotus Notes and Domino users worldwide, according to IBM, and it would be very wise for both Apple and IBM to release it faster. So far Microsoft Exchange is number one platform.
In the meantime one can use “MartinScott Consulting LLC’s WirelessMail” to forward Lotus Notes emails to Gmail or Yahoo mail.
