iPhone 1.1.4 firmware jailbroken

news March 1st, 2008

If you have already upgraded your iPhone to recently released 1.1.4 firmware, then you should know that there is a way to jailbreak it.

Zibri’s ZiPhone is now updated to version 2.5 and it allows you to jailbreak your iPhone.
Firstly you will need to restore your phone, and not update on iTunes.. This will get rid of all the installer cashed files. After restoring to 1.1.4, just use “ziphone -Z Y” in command line version or the first button on GUI version.

Yes it is as simple as that!ZiPhone is available for both Mac and PC. Download it from http://www.downloadziphone.org/

Adding lyrics to your favorite songs on iPhone

apps, tricks March 1st, 2008

Is it sometimes difficult to understand the lyrics of your favorite tune?

CNET has posted a small video tutorial of how you can do it. You can view it here.

In brief it explains that you can copy lyrics into the lyrics option in song properties on iTunes. Of course you paste lyrics which you found on the internet before.

You can also use Soundcrank plug-in which will get your favorite lyrics automatically.
